PARADISE MARINE / SCOUT BOATS, INC.  KING MACKEREL JACKPOT

 

The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot has been separated into 2 divisions, choose either the Open Division or the Recreational Division.  Each Division has its own payout and ticket cost.  Win cash for catching the biggest King Mackerel in each division as follows:

Win a boat through a random drawing.  Win a 17’ Scout 175 Sportfish boat courtesy of Paradise Marine and Scout Boats, Inc., a 90 h.p. Yamaha outboard and a Loadmaster Trailer.  The random drawing will be from entries of both divisions of the Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot.  One entry per Jackpot ticket subject to minimum length of 30” (See ADSFR Rule 20)

 

 

Open Division

Cost $375.00 per boat (two person minimum).

The cash prizes listed above are based on 75 ticket purchases at $375.00 per boat.  The First Place prize is a guaranteed $15,000.  All other cash prizes will be adjusted according to the number of entries.  *Example 60 entries, 2nd place $510, 3rd place $450, 4th place $390, 5th place $330 etc.

 

 

Recreational Division

Cost $150.00 per boat (two person minimum).

The cash prizes listed above are based on 100 ticket purchases at $150.00 per boat.  All cash prizes in the Recreational Division will be adjusted according to the number of entries.  *Example 75 entries, 1st place $1,350, 2nd place $1,260, 3rd place $1,170, 4th place $1,080, 5th place $990 etc.

 

 

1.        All rules of the ADSFR also apply to The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot.

2.        Dates of The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot are July 18, 19, 20, 2008.

3.        The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot tickets must be purchased before 5:00 a.m. on July 18, 2008.

4.        A minimum of two (2) anglers per boat for each division.  All boat members must have an ADSFR ticket (Refer to Rule 3 of the ADSFR rules) in addition to The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot ticket.

5.        A Captain’s meeting will be held at the ADSFR site on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. for a mandatory sign-out for both divisions.  If unable to attend the Captain’s meeting then a mandatory sign-out at the ADSFR site must be completed by a boat representative prior to the official starting time of 5:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2008.  Failure to comply with the mandatory sign-out will result in disqualification without refund.  The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot ticket and ADSFR ticket of registrant must be presented at the sign-out for verification and the person registering must be a participant upon the boat signed out.

6.        In the event of tie, the first fish registered at the weigh station that remains on the final board will prevail in The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot.

7.        Only one cash prize per boat will be awarded for the entire 3 day event for places 1-10 in the Open division and for places 1-10 in the Recreational division.  A boat can only compete in one division.  A boat IS allowed to bump itself out of a previous entry.

8.        In the event there are no qualifying entries, the proceeds for that place will be retained by the ADSFR for its various community and charity projects.

9.        The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot entries may become the property of the ADSFR.

10.     All prizes awarded to the winner will be made to the person designated as the purchaser of the ticket.

11.     The Paradise Marine / Scout Boats, Inc. King Mackerel Jackpot entries must be delivered by water to the official weigh stations dock in the boat in which it was caught.  All entries must be accompanied by a witness and the witness must have an ADSFR ticket.  NO KING MACKEREL JACKPOT ENTRIES ARRIVING BY LAND WILL BE ACCEPTED.

12.     The ADSFR reserves the right to change the species of fish for competition in the event conservation laws prohibit the designated fish from being caught.

13.     Winners will be determined by the largest fish entered according to weight.  (Subject to limitations as outlined in Rule 20 of the ADSFR rules).
